Akbank has successfully completed the issuance of a $500 million sustainability senior unsecured Eurobond to international capital markets investors, achieving a 7.5% yield. The total book size for the issuance reached $1.5 billion. With this transaction, the share of sustainability-focused wholesale funding in Akbank's portfolio has increased to 66%. The geographical distribution of the issuance was allocated as follows: 42% to the UK and Ireland, 21% to the USA, 20% to Continental Europe, 13% to the Middle East, and 4% to Asia.
